2:39. ಆದರೆ ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ತರುವಾಯ, ಶಿಮ್ಮಿಯ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಗುಲಾಮರು ಗತ್ ನಗರದ ರಾಜನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋದರು. ಆ ರಾಜನ ಹೆಸರು: ಮಾಕನ ಮಗನಾದ ಆಕೀಷ. ತನ್ನ ಗುಲಾಮರು ಗತ್ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿರುವುದು ಶಿಮ್ಮಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಿತು.

2:39. ಮೂರು ವರುಷ ಗಳ ಅಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನಾಯಿತಂದರೆ, ಶಿಮ್ಮಿಯ ಸೇವಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಗತ್ ಅರಸನಾದ ಮಾಕನ ಮಗನಾದ ಆಕೀಷನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋದರು. ಆಗ ಶಿಮ್ಮಿಗೆಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರು ಗತ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿ ದರು.

2:39. Three years later two of Shimei's servants ran away to King Achish son of Maacah of Gath. Shimei was told, "Look, your servants are in Gath."
